A little bit about our history
The name Dalfsen was first discovered in official documents in the year 1231. Dalfsen was the only (larger) town near the Overijsselse Vecht which never received city rights, due to its proximity to castle Rechteren.
The castle is facing the town of Dalfsen from the South and was build in 1320. It is habited by the same family since 1320.
